The Sanskrit meaning of Archana is homage paid to the Deities and also refers to chanting the names of a Deity. This is a short puja that can be done by the temple pandit on behalf of a devotee for direction and blessings. This puja last approximately 10-15 minutes per Deity.
Note: At Sri Somesvara, monthly and annual pujas are approximately 1-1/2 hours.
